Undergraduate Admissions

The undergraduate degree programs offered by the University of Georgia at the Griffin Campus are degree-completion programs intended for transfer students and students seeking a second undergraduate degree.

Admission requirements are 60 or more transferable semester credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.80 as calculated by the UGA Office of Undergraduate Admissions and completion of core curriculum areas I-VI. In addition, students must also meet eligibility requirements for the specific degree program they wish to pursue.

All prospective students for UGA-Griffin should apply online through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Please review all items on the Transfer Application Checklist [pdf] to become familiar with the application process and be aware of supporting documentation required. You are encouraged to review the Admission Application Instructions [pdf] prior to completing the online application. Note that the undergraduate application fee is $60.

International applicants should complete all items on the International Transfer Application Checklist [pdf].

Undergraduate Application Deadlines
Fall – July 15

Summer – May 1

UGA only offers transient status options for summer term. If a student wishes to attend UGA-Griffin during fall or spring terms (even if the intent is to be a transient student), the applicant must submit the application and required documentation as a transfer applicant. Students applying for transient status at UGA-Griffin should complete all items on the Transient Application Checklist [pdf].
